A heart of gold collection

A collaboration between Gold Hearted Club + Narratorium

In February 2023 Kerrie (Gold Hearted Club) and I (Narratorium) launched a heart-led jewellery collaboration to raise awareness of heart disease and encourage women to be risk aware and take better care of their hearts, after learning that ‘Women are twice as likely to die from coronary heart disease, the main cause of a heart attack, than of breast cancer in the UK.’ – British Heart Foundation.

Our launch idea was to create 'one of a kind' gold heart necklaces which were individually sculpted/created by hand and all completely unique with their own very subtle differences. Each one perfectly imperfect and symbolic of the many different precious hearts that have been shaped in different ways by heart disease.

Our intention was for these pieces to act as a conversation starter and to be worn to empower those already affected by heart disease or by those simply connected to and passionate about the cause, who would like to help raise awareness of heart disease in women and ways to prevent it.

Following the success of our ‘perfectly imperfect’ one-of-a-kind gold heart necklaces we decided to design several new pieces to complement it, including rings, bracelets, and earrings in gold and silver.

We hope the full collection will continue to raise awareness of heart disease in women, as well as vital funds for the British Heart Foundation with 10% of each sale being donated.
