Shop local and get rewarded with the TN Card
‘Tis the season for giving…And whether that’s a special gift for your other half, or just treating yourself to a warm drink on the frosty Christmas shopping trail, it’s a time for rewarding each other. And when rewards come from shopping local, independent and handmade - even better!
Local membership scheme the TN card is a rewards system for the community that also supports independent businesses. I love being one of the TN card partners so I’ve made an easy guide below:
What exactly *is* the TN card?
A membership programme that rewards people for shopping and supporting local independent makers, producers and boutiques. Members get freebies and discounts at hundreds of businesses across the TN postcodes for a small monthly or annual fee.
What are the benefits?
As an independent business, it’s really important to reach people who might not usually step into one of my stockists, local Christmas markets or who haven’t yet spotted Narratorium online. It enables me to treat people who love to shop and support local with a reward just for them.
There are so many great offers and rewards for TN Card members; whether you like to sample local wine on a self-guided tour of Biddenden vineyard, or prefer to just sip overlooking the gorgeous Happy Valley at The Beacon. There really is so much on offer - see below for a couple of my favourites.
What is the Narratorium offer?
For TN Card members there’s a lovely 10% discount on any of the handmade pieces of jewellery in my unique collections.
And the best of the rest?
If you’re looking for gifts, then Biggie Best with its eclectic mix of homeware is a great place to start - I love popping into browse their beautiful store on Mount Pleasant road. They offer a 10% discount for members.
If an experience, learning a new skill or just starting a mindful practice is more your thing, then check out The Ceramic Studio set on a converted barn in beautiful Brenchley. They offer a starter session of their pottery classes and workshops for just £60. This looks super fun.
Let me know if you’ve got any recommendations for TN card members, I’d love to hear them!
