A photoshoot for Heart Warriors

For Heart Month 2024 Kerrie of Gold Hearted Club and I decided to invite six women to share their stories of living with heart disease and model our ‘Heart of Gold’ jewellery collection, to help us continue raising awareness of heart disease as well as raising vital funds for more research.

Our goal was to capture each of our beautiful, courageous, heart warriors unique stories through a series of natural, documentary style portraits shot by our talented photographer Leana Keen.

All of our ladies, Agatha, Amanda, Nette, Bee, Kerrie and Sally had their hair and make up done, thanks to Kate Waller make up, and hairdressers Jordanne Absolon and Jessica Drinkwater. Then were adorned in our silver or gold jewellery depending on their personal preferences.

Despite the fact that our ladies had no previous modelling experience, they were all absolute naturals in front of the camera, and all looked absolutely stunning. Their strength, courage and positivity shining through in every shot.

We only had a couple of hours at the gorgeous bright and airy Yard Yoga to get all of the shots we needed, but the team came together beautifully and we all felt a huge sense of achievement coming together for such a meaningful project.
